You can take this one step further and add the weather overlay from BI Tools. # text as the OP doesn't get all the data, so it has to be converted to JSON In Blue Iris, create a new camera with Video tab configured as in image 1 below. You go to 'camera properties, 'general' and change it. # This section pulls the json data from WU. In Blue Iris, a new camera when first created will default to and display on the screen the camera 'Name' which will be like 'My Camera X' or similar. Here's how it ends up looking (or at least as I've set it up in BI) # Note that I condensed and hardcoded what would be variables otherwise. Depending on how Ambient is forming their JSON, this is how I fooled around with the above and modified it to fit my need. Until (-not $processBlueIris) Write-Output "BlueIris Not Running. Write-Output -InputObject "Last Updated: $($timeStamp)" $CurrentWeather | Out-File "C:\BlueIris\weather.txt" -Encoding UTF8 $CurrentWeather = Write-Output "Cond: $($) | Temp: $($roundTemp)☏ | Wind: $($roundWind) mp/h" $pirateWeather | ConvertTo-Json -depth 100 $pirateWeather = Invoke-RestMethod "$pirateUrl" $pirateUrl = "$($apiKey)/$($location)?exclude=minutely,hourly,daily,alerts&units=us" $processBlueIris = Get-Process -Name BlueIris -ErrorAction Silentl圜ontinue You can apply the same logic to other weather APIs. Unfortunately, I have noticed that recently Wunderground has removed the Indoor Temp from their call. The timer is built in as well which updates every 30min. Firstly, I want to say that Ive been an avid user of Blue Iris Tools for the past 3 years on 7 various cameras using Wunderground (KMNEDINA21). Only difference is I wrapped it in a loop and runs only when BlueIris is running. Since wttr.in sometimes goes down I used my API to get my weather. $CurrentWeather | Out-File -FilePath "C:\BlueIris\weather.txt" -Encoding UTF8 $CurrentWeather = Invoke-RestMethod "$Url" You then add the "weather.txt" to a macro in Blue Iris settings and apply it as a overlay # Simple script to pull weather from "" to use as an overlay in Blue Iris This powershell script grabs the current weather from " wttr.in" and puts into "weather.txt" then I use task scheduler to run the script on an hourly schedule So I created my own powershell script that does simply that. The Weatherlink log says that after 5 attempts it has aborted upload due to archive header upload failure.I could not find a simple way to add a weather overlay to my camera feed and I did not want to use the outdated Blue Iris Tools for something so simple. I've looked at other local stations on the app and they seem ok with all the graphs updating. All the archive data is fine on my PC Weatherlink and even more strange is that my friend who has a Vantage View USB version started having exactly the same problem yesterday afternoon as well. Tried making a new test station and the same thing happens. Also turned off the local uploads to the profiles to see if that was causing it. As of right now BIT only supports text overlay weather, not images. From there you can download and install the update. Also browsed through recent records and can't find anything that appears corrupt. How To Download / Install: In Blue Iris Tools, click the Options tab, then the Check For Update button. I've rebooted console (power off and batteries out} rebooted PC and restarted Weatherlink. If you turn "Weatherlink upload to network" off with the F12 key everything works fine and the box closes instantly. ![]() The panel then disappears and the programme resumes with updating the profiles for the graphs on my PC template page. When it tries to upload you get the transfer of records panel but it just hangs there for around 3 minutes and the whole programme freezes. The data that uploads every minute is getting there ok but the archive data is not updating graphs either on app or bulletin page. Yesterday afternoon, around 5pm UK time, the archive data stopped uploading from my VP Pro2 (cabled USB version) to.
